Start/End Dates: ASAP through May 28, 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours daily)
Caseload: Primarily one school site (to be confirmed)
Age Group: School-aged children receiving speech therapy services
Responsibilities:
- Assist a virtual SLP by facilitating speech services on-site
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students requiring assistance
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes according to compliance standards
- Comply with all school and district policies while on site
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA licensure is required
- Fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse or completion of new fingerprints is mandatory
- Previous experience in school-based speech therapy is preferred
- Ability to support virtual and traditional speech services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
