Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to student communication development throughout the academic school year in Ruston, Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the speech-language pathologist in implementing individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Conduct screening and gather data on student progress to support effective therapy outcomes.
- Provide direct speech and language intervention under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Assist with documentation, session preparation, and maintenance of therapy materials.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Louisiana
- Experience working with children in a K-12 educational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families.
- $28-$33/hr

Location: Ruston, LA
Duration: Contract position for the full academic school year (NSY)
