Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English is required; candidates should be completely fluent in both languages, not just conversational.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising therapists.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student needs.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
