Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Roseville, CA
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an itinerant role supporting K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite within a dynamic educational environment, providing essential speech therapy assistance across multiple school sites.
Location:
- Roseville, CA (Itinerant within the region)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Support individualized education program (IEP) goals and track student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to integrate speech therapy within the classroom setting.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and trainings to stay current with best practices in speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in schools preferred.
- Ability to work itinerantly within assigned school districts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid SLPA certification or relevant credentials.
- Commitment to supporting student development in speech and language.
