School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Roseville, California

This full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position supports K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Roseville, CA. The role begins in January and runs through the 2025-2026 school year as an onsite, contracted opportunity. Candidates will work closely with speech and language pathologists to assist students in developing essential communication skills within schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support to students under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy programs
- Monitor and document student progress and communicate effectively with the educational team
- Support classroom teachers by adapting materials and reinforcing therapy goals
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all educational and healthcare regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience supporting speech and language therapy in a K-12 educational environment is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments
Location and Schedule:
- Position is located onsite in Roseville, CA
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration through the 2025-2026 school year, starting in January
