Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Houston, TX

Located in the Houston metro area, this full-time contract position provides Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services across two campuses within a K-12 educational setting. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, supporting students in grades 7 through 12.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering SLPA support services to a caseload of approximately 80 to 90 students between two campuses
- Collaborating with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement individualized treatment plans
- Participating in team meetings and maintaining detailed documentation of student progress
- Adhering to professional standards and school district policies to ensure effective service delivery
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid professional license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably grades 7-12
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a sizable caseload efficiently
- Ability to work on-site full-time, maintaining flexibility for the diverse needs of students
This role is on-site only and serves two campuses located in Richmond, Texas. The position is contracted through the end of the current school year. Please note, funding for this position is currently in process.
