Position Description:
Join a district seeking a motivated SLPA who enjoys working with young adults. In this role, you will collaborate with a supervising SLP and school teams to provide therapeutic services to high school students. Expect a mix of speech and expressive/receptive language support, functional communication, and general academic communication integration.
Caseload Breakdown:

25–30 total students receiving services

Mix of mild–moderate language deficits
-
Two students utilizing AAC devices requiring routine programming, modeling, and consistent device protocols

Structured schedule with manageable therapy groups
Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds an Illinois SLPA License
-
Has previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience
-
Takes initiative, communicates professionally, and is comfortable working in secondary education environments
