Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Studies, or related field

Current Virginia SLPA licensure (or eligibility)
-
Experience working with children (school-based experience a plus!)

Strong communication and collaboration skills
-
Knowledge of IEP processes and educational laws
Key Responsibilities:

Support the SLP in providing therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Assist in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
-
Assist with documentation and progress tracking under SLP supervision
-
Participate in IEP processes within credential guidelines
-
Provide helpful resources to parents, caregivers, and education teams
