Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Riverside, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for a contract role within an elementary school setting in Riverside, CA. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment across multiple school sites, providing support to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to help manage their caseloads effectively.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language support primarily to elementary students, with potential involvement at the secondary and Pre-K levels.
- Implementing individualized therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP.
- Working a rotating two-week schedule, covering different school sites each day before cycling back.
- Collaborating with SLPs and educational staff to track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current California SLPA license.
- Bilingual Spanish speakers are preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working in school settings is desirable, though not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt to varied environments and student needs across different age groups.
