Position Details:
- Location: Rifle, CO
- Role: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Number of Positions: 2
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to support students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and report outcomes to supervising SLP.
- Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by collecting data and participating in meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a State of Colorado License with an endorsement as a Special Services Provider or the ability to obtain this within the first 60 days of the school year.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
