A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in the Cypress, TX area, supporting students at an elementary school near Southeast Houston and Hobby Airport. Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA TDLR licensure in hand (no supervisory support for licensure acquisition)
- Experience working as an SLPA in school settings preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to manage commute to the school location
- Availability to work full time (37.5 hours per week) from April 20 to June 4, 2026
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting early in the assignment
Location:
- Cypress, TX area with assignment at a school near Hobby Airport in Southeast Houston
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to provide therapeutic services to students with communication needs
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and assist in implementing speech and language interventions in a school environment
- Document student progress and participate in team meetings as required
