Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students in a school setting
- Implement therapy plans under supervision, support documentation and progress reporting
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication development
- Maintain compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Current SLPA licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) is mandatory; candidate must have licensure in hand as supervision for licensure acquisition is not available
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to manage commute to Southeast Houston location
- Available for a virtual interview via Microsoft Teams lasting 15–30 minutes
- Ability to complete district-required fingerprinting promptly (fee required upfront)
