Pediatric Speech Pathology Assistant - Blaine, WA
Located in Blaine, WA, this opportunity invites a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to make a meaningful impact in a school setting on a contract basis. Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, student-centered speech therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Support students in areas including articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and social communication
- Translate Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals into meaningful and measurable progress
- Maintain accurate records of sessions and student growth
- Collaborate closely with educators, special education teams, and families to promote whole-child success
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Demonstrated energy, empathy, and reliability within educational environments
- Prior experience in schools or pediatrics is an asset but not mandatory
