This position calls for two Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to support elementary school students in Cape Coral, FL. This full-time contract role begins January 1, 2026, and runs through June 1, 2026, covering the second semester of the school year. The caseload includes working with 50-55 students of elementary age, providing speech and language support under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain detailed records of student progress
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and school staff to provide coordinated care
- Implement therapy activities under the direction of a supervising clinician
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student goal-setting efforts
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students effectively
