Hiring Full-Time School-Based SLPs or SLPAs | Prescott Valley, AZ
Start Date: October 13, 2025
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time services at a school system in Prescott Valley, AZ for the 2025–2026 school year. The district will also consider experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, providing services to students in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language services to students in accordance with IEP goals.

Conduct evaluations and assessments (SLP only).

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student communication needs.

Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with state and district policies.
Requirements for SLP (per Arizona guidelines):

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Current Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or CFY candidates will be considered with appropriate supervision.

Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP) issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate.
Requirements for SLPA (per Arizona guidelines):

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting, Communication Disorders, or a related field.

Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP).

Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Must work under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
