This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to support PreK-12 students across multiple campuses in a dynamic educational setting. You will be an essential part of delivering quality speech therapy services to a diverse caseload, ensuring that students meet their communication goals during a temporary leave contract.
Location: Poteet, TX
Assignment Duration: January to end of March/early April
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
Caseload: Approximately 65 direct and 18 indirect students across four campuses
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Texas
- Experience working with PreK-12 students in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently and compassionately
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation for all therapy sessions and progress reports
- Travel between assigned campuses to deliver consistent therapy services
- Support students’ development of communication skills to enhance academic success
