Role Summary
As an SLPA in Port St. Lucie, FL, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to support students with speech, language, and communication needs in the school setting.
Responsibilities
• Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans
• Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP
• Collect data and document student progress
• Collaborate with educators and support staff
• Support generalization of communication goals in the classroom
Requirements (Florida)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid Florida SLPA licensure or certification
• School-based experience preferred
Employment Options
Local Contract
• Full-time, on-site in Port St. Lucie, FL
• Hourly rate: $34–$39/hour
Travel Contract
• Full-time, on-site in Port St. Lucie, FL
