An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide specialized support within early childhood development settings in a school environment. This travel position is based in Pomona, CA, and offers approximately 10 hours per week from ASAP through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Support the development of communication skills in young children with varied speech and language challenges.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans focused on early childhood developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet student goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data collection as required by therapy protocols and educational standards.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in school settings, preferably with early childhood caseloads.
  • Knowledge of typical and atypical speech and language development in young children.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently within a limited weekly schedule.
