This early childhood-focused Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position offers an opportunity to support language development for young learners within a school setting. The role is based in Pomona, CA, and provides a contract through the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in delivering intervention services focused on early childhood development
- Monitor and document student progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Support students in individualized sessions aligned with their developmental needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification or license
- Experience working with early childhood populations preferred
- Ability to follow detailed therapeutic plans and maintain accurate records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with young children and school staff
