Pittsburg, CA School-Based SLPA Opening Speech Therapy Assistant Job
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position in Pittsburg, CA. This California SLPA job will run from September 2025 through the end of the 2026 school year. The SLPA will work onsite, supporting a supervising virtual SLP in delivering therapy to students from kindergarten through high school.
This school-based SLPA position in Pittsburg is an excellent fit for those looking to gain experience in speech therapy services while working closely with a licensed SLP.
Responsibilities:

Implement speech therapy treatment plans created by the supervising SLP.

Deliver therapy in small group, one-on-one, and classroom settings.

Support virtual SLP sessions as the in-class facilitator.

Collect and document accurate student data and progress.

Assist in adapting therapy materials for student use.

Collaborate with teachers and parents on student progress.
Required Qualifications:

Valid CA SLPA license.

Previous school experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Must be reliable, organized, and tech-savvy.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Spanish bilingual candidates are a plus.
