Caseload: K–12
Employment Type: School-based, contracted position
A supportive school district in Elgin, TX is looking to hire a full-time SLPA for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. The SLPA will support students across K–12 grade levels, providing therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP-CCC. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and looking to grow their school-based experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs

Collaborate with supervising SLP and educational teams

Collect data and assist with documentation and progress tracking

Support SLPs in implementing therapy activities

Follow district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based services
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Texas SLPA license
-
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

Strong communication and organization skills
-
Comfortable working with diverse student populations
