This position offers an opportunity to provide vital speech-language support services as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within elementary education settings. The role is full-time and contract-based, located in the Baltimore area, serving students from PreK through 5th grade. Working on-site is required with no remote or hybrid options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language intervention and support services to elementary students across two schools, splitting time three days per week at Magnolia Elementary and two days per week at Prospect Mill Elementary.
  • Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement individualized education program (IEP) goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and service delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
  • Follow state and district policies regarding educational and therapeutic services.

Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland Professional Licensure as an SLPA.
  • Experience delivering speech-language support services in an elementary school setting (PreK–5) preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours/week).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with speech and language needs.

Location and Schedule:

  • On-site work in the Baltimore area.
  • Contract term from February 16, 2026 through May 29, 2026, with potential extension into Extended School Year (ESY) in July 2026 (4 weeks).
  • Split schedule between Magnolia Elementary (3 days/week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days/week).

This position plays a critical role in helping young learners develop effective communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
