ProCare Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to serve K–12 students in Illinois schools during the 2025–2026 school year. From Chicago, Naperville, Rockford, and Peoria to Springfield, Champaign, and smaller communities across the state, we’ll help match you with a role where your skills make a real impact.
SLPAs are essential members of the school support team, working under the supervision of licensed SLPs to help students overcome communication challenges that affect academics, social growth, and confidence.

Job Details:

Location: Illinois public and charter K–12 schools

Schedule: Full-time or part-time availability

Pay: Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly via direct deposit

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 school year

Extension: High potential for renewal or transition into a long-term role
Basic Requirements:
-
Active or pending Illinois SLPA license (IDFPR)
-
Supervision by a licensed SLP in Illinois
-
Preferred: Experience in pediatrics, schools, or child-focused therapy
-
Must complete onboarding (background check, TB test, fingerprinting) per district guidelines

What You’ll Do:
As an SLPA, you’ll provide direct student support under the guidance of a licensed SLP. Duties include implementing therapy activities, monitoring and documenting student progress, preparing therapy materials, supporting IEP goals, and collaborating with teachers and families to encourage student growth.
