School Speech Pathologist Assistant - Orlando, Florida

A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available within a K-12 educational setting in the Orlando, FL area. This is a contract position running through the current school year, supporting multiple school campuses and providing services to diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support students’ communication skills development in compliance with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with school staff and families to support student progress
- Manage caseloads efficiently across multiple campuses, including itinerant assignments
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication to track student outcomes and program effectiveness
Locations served include several public schools in the Oviedo and Sanford areas, as well as multiple private school campuses in the region. The position requires availability to work on-site exclusively.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida State License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Experience supporting K-12 students in school settings preferred
- Must have supervision support from a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Ability to work full-time or part-time as assigned, with coverage needed for maternity leave from January through May
