This full-time opportunity is designed for passionate, dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) interested in working with an engaging elementary caseload for the 2026-2027 academic year.
School Dates: August 11th 2026 - May 20th 2027
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Credentialed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with required state licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children is preferred
- Solid understanding of speech and language intervention strategies for elementary-aged students
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and supervising SLPs
- Strong organizational skills to manage materials, schedules, and documentation across two campuses
- Compassion, patience, and the flexibility to adapt to students’ diverse needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and report findings to supervising SLPs and educational staff
- Support classroom teachers with speech and language strategies within the general education setting
- Prepare therapy materials and resources for individual and group sessions
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth
