Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Oakland, CA
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in an onsite school setting in Oakland, CA. This role will begin ASAP and continue through the end of the current school year, providing valuable assistance to the speech-language pathology team and directly contributing to student success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting Speech-Language Pathologists with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Supporting speech and language therapy sessions with students
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with educators and therapists to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license in California is required
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite with flexibility and professionalism
