Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Berkeley, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in an elementary school setting in Berkeley, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students under the guidance of a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supervisor.
- Manage and document student progress effectively to meet individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with school policies and professional standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating virtually with an SLP supervisor.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
