Speech Therapy Assistant - San Jose, CA

A part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support the current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting located in San Jose, CA. This role offers flexibility with scheduling, working approximately 14 hours over two days each week during the school year, from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in delivering speech and language therapy services to students across K-12.
- Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Document student progress and assist with therapy materials preparation.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure consistency in student support.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting student development.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate 2 days per week.

- Compensation: $30-$48 per hour, based on experience
