Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in evaluating, planning, and implementing speech and language therapy services
- Support students with speech and language impairments under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate effectively with team members to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in meetings related to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and contribute to collaborative efforts for student success
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state
- Experience working in a school environment, preferably at the high school level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff
- Ability to follow established therapy protocols and adapt to varying student needs
