A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a K-12 school setting in San Francisco, CA. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, to June 11, 2026, requiring 30 hours per week split across 6 hours daily. Scheduled hours may vary depending on the school building’s timetable.
Responsibilities:
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language services to students across grades K-12.
- Assist with individualized therapy sessions and classroom support at four different school sites.
- Collaborate closely with the supervising SLP to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with program standards.
- Work on-site exclusively, following school policies and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLPA license is required.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple locations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have received direct supervision from an SLP.
