Position Overview
BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide maternity leave coverage in a supportive Houston-area school district. What You’ll Do

Provide Direct Therapy Services: Implement speech and language therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' communication goals.

Document Progress: Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist in preparing reports for Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Support Diverse Caseloads: Engage with students across various grade levels and communication needs, adapting strategies to meet individual requirements.

Who We're Looking For

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.

Licensure: Valid Texas SLPA license.

Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
