School-Based Speech Pathology Assistant | Glendale, California

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position supporting a K-12 school in Glendale, CA. This contract role runs from February 2026 through June 4, 2026, with an average of 30 hours per week. The SLPA will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to assist in managing a caseload of approximately 45 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SLPs by implementing therapy plans and activities under supervision
- Assist with documentation and progress monitoring for student caseloads
- Prepare materials for speech therapy sessions and help facilitate group and individual interventions
- Communicate effectively with students, educators, and staff to promote speech and language development
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as an SLPA in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with school personnel and families

Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
