Speech Pathology Assistant - New Lenox, IL
A K-12 school in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2025-2026 school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services to K-12 students
- Manage a caseload based on your age group and caseload preference, working directly with students to support their communication goals
- Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student services and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLPA Endorsement as required by the state
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred, with flexibility to indicate caseload and age group preferences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective collaboration within the school environment
- Ability to work onsite in New Lenox, IL for the duration of the school year contract
