A full-time bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available working within a K-12 school environment in the Naperville, IL area. This contract position runs from January 2026 through April 2026 and offers a comprehensive caseload across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to a diverse student population in grades K-12
- Support the speech-language pathologist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Collaborate with educational staff to ensure student needs are met within the contracted hours
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate with students and families
- Experience working as an SLPA in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of speech-language development and therapeutic techniques
- Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload with organizational skill and professionalism
Additional Details:
- Guaranteed hours with no additional district responsibilities such as bus duty or parent pickup
- Travel therapists may be eligible for stipends
