Job Description:
School-based SLPA needed to support speech and language services for PreK students in Napa, CA. This full-time role involves assisting a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a caseload of approximately 40 students during the 2025–2026 school year. Previous school-based experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for PreK students.

Collect and document student progress data during therapy sessions.

Prepare therapy materials and support the development of intervention activities.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to promote student communication goals.

Participate in team meetings and contribute observations to support student success.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional and ethical standards.
Experience:
-
Previous experience as an SLPA in any setting.

Previous school-based SLPA experience is highly preferred.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent field is required.

Valid SLPA certification or eligibility to obtain certification in California.
Work Schedule & Caseload:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Manage a caseload of approximately 40 PreK students.
