Pediatric School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Mount Airy, North Carolina
A School-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Mount Airy, NC, supporting an elementary school setting for grades K-5. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Support students across K-5th grade with individual and group interventions
- Collaborate with educators and SLPs to implement therapy plans and monitor progress
- Maintain documentation and comply with school and state regulations for student care
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid North Carolina SLPA certification
- Experience in school-based speech and language support, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Knowledge of pediatric speech-language development and therapy techniques
