This position seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students across early childhood through high school levels. The assignment is based in Moreno Valley, CA, within a school setting, running on contract from as soon as possible through the end of the school year with strong potential for renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized speech therapy plans.
- Support students from kindergarten to 12th grade in developing communication skills.
- Document session progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote speech and language development.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and therapy strategies.
Qualifications:
- Active state SLPA license.
- Experience working with a diverse range of age groups including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Ability to work effectively within a school environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Details:
- Contract position, 35 hours per week, 5 days a week.
- Student age range: K-12.
