Speech Pathologist Assistant in Hemet, CA

A 35-hour per week contract position is available to support K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Hemet, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple school sites, assisting students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade until April 24th.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support individualized education program (IEP) goals for students across various grades and needs
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Degree in Speech & Language Pathology or a certificate from an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program
- Registration with the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Board as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant is required
- Experience working in school settings preferred, with an ability to manage caseload and support diverse student populations
