This position seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-5 students in a public elementary school setting in Prichard, AL. The role is contract-based for the 2025-2026 school year, with hands-on, on-site responsibilities focused on delivering speech therapy services within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy support to K-5 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the academic setting.
- Participate in ongoing documentation and progress monitoring of each student’s speech development.

Qualifications:
- Registered with the Board of Speech Examiners in Alabama.
- An Alabama DOE SLPA license is required for direct hire; however, registration with the Board is mandatory.
- Experience working with K-5 students in educational settings preferred.
