Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) Needed in Missouri City TX for 25/26 School Year
Job Description:
Join our dedicated team as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving students in a supportive school-based setting in Houston. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will help students overcome communication barriers and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to students following individualized plans developed by the supervising SLP.

Document student progress and maintain accurate records.

Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and use of equipment.

Support assessments and screenings under supervision.
-
Collaborate with school staff and families to enhance student communication skills.

Follow all professional, legal, and ethical guidelines related to student care.
Requirements:

Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Active SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

School-based experience preferred, but not required.
-
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team.
