School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Caseload: 45–60 students (shared with SLP; no direct paperwork required)
Sites: 1–2 school buildings
Preference: Strong experience with AAC devices
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Plymouth, MN for the remainder of the 2024–25 school year. This is a full-time, onsite role providing direct therapy services under the supervision of an experienced SLP.
Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students

Support a shared caseload of 45–60 students across 1–2 buildings

Implement treatment plans and track student performance

Assist students using AAC devices; AAC experience strongly preferred

Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, staff, and families

No direct paperwork responsibilities — supervising SLP handles all documentation
Required Qualifications (per new MN law):

Associate’s Degree in SLPA or
-
Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders (or related field)

Active Minnesota SLPA credential or eligibility

School or pediatric experience preferred
Compensation:
-
Average hourly rate: $24–$34/hr, depending on experience and AAC proficiency
