Seeking a skilled California Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position in Merced, CA, serving the school setting. This role supports students through individualized and small group sessions, contributing to their speech and language development in an engaging educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language support to preschool and early elementary students.
  • Conduct 20-30 minute sessions with groups of 2-4 students.
  • Deliver one-on-one interventions when needed.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff.
  • Maintain detailed session documentation and progress monitoring.
  • Support both Extended School Year (ESY) and Normal School Year (NSY) programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to engage preschoolers and young children effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Availability for full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Commitment through the contract period, ASAP start through June 6, 2025.

Location:

  • Merced, CA – work within a school environment supporting students throughout the academic year.
