Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in the Marion, AL area. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with students across a wide range of ages while supporting communication development in an educational setting. Position Details
- Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Employment Type: Contract

- Assignment: Through June 2027
- Student Population: Head Start through 12th Grade
- Caseload: Up to 40 Students
- Location: Marion, AL Area
Responsibilities
- Implement speech and language treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Assist with data collection and progress monitoring
- Support students with a variety of communication needs, including autism and nonverbal learners
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support student goals
- Maintain accurate service notes and documentation
- Participate in team meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Active Alabama SLPA License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Organized and detail-oriented approach to documentation and service delivery
