Travel School Speech & Language Pathology Assistant | Manchester, Connecticut
A school-based position is available for two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support students in Bloomfield and Manchester, Connecticut. This travel assignment runs from ASAP through mid-June, concluding at the end of the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assisting with therapy activities tailored to students’ individual needs
- Documenting student progress and maintaining records
- Collaborating with school staff and families to support students’ communication goals
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to travel between Bloomfield (grades 6–12) and Manchester (grades K–5)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting students’ educational and communication development
This is a full-time role with 30-40 hours per week, serving small caseloads of approximately 5-7 students at each location. The assignments require flexibility and travel between the two campuses in Manchester and Bloomfield.
