Position located in Chico, CA seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students across multiple school sites. This contract role runs through the current school year with an anticipated end date of May 28, 2026. The position requires an onsite presence and flexibility to travel among several elementary schools, including Spring Valley, Bangor, and Berry Creek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language intervention services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Conduct assessments and assist with individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Travel between multiple school sites to deliver consistent services.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
