Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Madera, CA Full School Year Head Start Support
Position Overview
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, full school year position in Madera, CA. This is an itinerant role across 4–6 sites, requiring reliable transportation. The SLPA will collaborate with a VOCO SLP, supporting students in the Head Start program in the morning and assisting with IEP meetings and assessments in the afternoon.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language services under the supervision of an SLP

Support Head Start students with targeted therapy in the mornings

Facilitate IEP meetings and assist with assessment activities in the afternoons

Travel between assigned school sites as needed

Maintain documentation of services and student progress

Collaborate with educators, parents, and therapy teams
Qualifications

Active California SLPA license required
-
New graduates will not be considered

Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred

Access to reliable transportation for itinerant travel
Compensation
Compensation for this position ranges from $40 to $50 per hour. We pay for direct and indirect services. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
