Job Description:
Madera Unified School District is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dedicated team for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, full-school-year position working at a single elementary school site, supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students.
You will collaborate closely with two virtual SLPs (Voco SLPs) to deliver high-quality speech and language services. We're looking for a professional who thrives in a school-based setting and can work independently while maintaining excellent communication with a remote supervision team.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language services to students as directed by supervising SLPs

Document student progress and maintain accurate records

Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals under SLP guidance

Collaborate with on-site staff and Voco SLPs to support student success

Support generalization of skills within the school environment
Requirements:

Current California SLPA license
-
Minimum of 1 year of on-site school-based experience

Strong organizational and communication skills

Comfortable working with virtual SLP supervisors

Not accepting new graduates for this role

Elementary caseload of approximately 50 students

One school site only

Collaborative work with 2 virtual SLPs
