Travel School Speech Therapy Assistant | Los Angeles, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to provide integral support within a school setting. This role involves traveling to educational locations in Los Angeles, CA, specifically serving students at elementary and middle school levels. The SLPA will work closely with the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assist in delivering speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 30-35 students.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SLPs to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy support to students.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support classroom teachers in facilitating communication strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans.
- Travel between school sites as required to meet caseload needs.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential.
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-35 students effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel between schools.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
