A skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is sought to support student communication development in a K-12 school setting in Los Angeles, CA. Key Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in school settings
- Knowledge of speech and language development in children from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Ability to implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and clinicians
- Familiarity with school-based intervention strategies and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records and reports consistent with district and legal standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as applicable
