Sunbelt Staffing is hiring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based travel assignments across the U.S. for the 2025–2026 school year! ?? What a Travel Contract Means

A travel contract is a full-time school-year position in a district located at least 50 miles away from your tax home. Travel SLPAs receive a competitive hourly rate, plus 50% non-taxed stipends to help cover housing, meals, and incidentals. These contracts typically last one school year, with options to renew or transfer to other locations once completed.

? Duties

  • Provide speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Implement individualized treatment plans to support communication goals

  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the IEP team

  • Support inclusion and communication across academic environments


? Requirements

  • Active SLPA license in the state you are applying or willing to travel to (required)

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to work full-time during the school year

  • Must be open to traveling 50+ miles from your permanent address
